Montenegro continues its strong engagement in the process of modernizing public administration, said Minister of Public Administration Maraš Dukaj.

As announced by the Ministry of Public Administration, Dukaj said this at a meeting with the President of the Board of Directors of the Federal Office for Administrative Policy and Support - BOSA, Niko Voiaart, in Brussels.

It is stated that Dukaj, with his team, presented the scope of work of the Ministry of Public Administration, as well as current projects and priorities.

"We believe that the Belgian practice in change management and the application of artificial intelligence can be a valuable model for the modernization of our administration, towards meeting the pre-accession standards for Montenegro's entry into the European Union," Dukaj emphasized.

Speaking about BOSA's responsibilities, Voajart presented their key initiatives in the field of digitalization and public administration.

"During the conversation, significant potential points of future cooperation were identified, among which the concept of a digital wallet, e-box and other innovative digital services that can improve public administration stand out," the statement said.

It is added that the meeting concluded with a joint assessment that there is a need and space to further strengthen cooperation and communication, with the aim of modernizing services and improving the user experience of citizens.
