Four students from Mojkovac will receive the Mayor's Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement this year.
This year's winners of the award are: Anka Ćetković, a final year undergraduate student at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Cetinje, Anđela Đurišić, a final year master's student at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management in Kotor, Vladimir Grujić, a fourth year student at the Faculty of Medicine in Podgorica, Pavle Damjanović, a fourth year student at the Faculty of Medicine in Moscow.
The award, which is presented by the Mayor of the Municipality, consists of a diploma and a monetary amount. The monetary part of the award is awarded in the amount of one average net salary in the current year in Montenegro.
As previously announced, the municipality aims to provide support to students who, through their efforts and dedication, have achieved exceptional success during their studies with the award for exceptional academic achievement.
The award was open to undergraduate, master's and doctoral students, as well as medical and veterinary students, and those studying abroad, who achieved an average grade of at least 9.00 on their exams.
In addition, the Municipality has awarded scholarships to 30 students. Among them are: four from the Faculty of Law, Political Science and Humanities; three from the Faculty of Philosophy; two each from the Faculty of Science and Mathematics and the Faculty of Fine and Visual Arts; and one student each from the Faculty of Biotechnology, the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Philology, the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education, the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management and the Polytechnic.
The scholarship also supported four students studying at international universities, as well as eight students in shortage professions, which include studies at the Faculties of Electrical Engineering, Medicine, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, and Chemistry.
