The Vice Presidents of the Municipality of Bar, Tanja Spičanović and Damir Rašketić, hosted a reception yesterday for representatives of the crews of the Italian Navy ships "Sirio", "Tirso" and "Cigala Fulgosi", who are on an official visit to Montenegro.
This was announced by the Bar local government, adding that, during the friendly meeting, the vice presidents presented the guests with the rich history of Bar, its dynamic development and projects that shape the city's contemporary identity. Special emphasis was placed on the economic and tourist potential of the municipality, which is positioned as one of the most promising destinations on the Montenegrin coast.
"The visit of the Italian Navy ships represents an important contribution to further improving cooperation with the Navy of the Army of Montenegro. Such activities contribute to overall stability, security and strengthening of partnership in the Adriatic, which is of exceptional importance for both the two countries and the region," the Municipality of Bar announced.
International cooperation and concrete joint activities with partners, they said, have always been a priority of the Municipality of Bar, and in that sense, they expressed their readiness to support concrete activities that will further complement the relations between Montenegro and Italy.
