Faculty of Mechanical Engineering student Pavle Bojović is the winner of the annual award of the University of Montenegro. He is a third-year student, and his index score is only 10.
As announced by the University of Montenegro, his academic path was marked by high standards, dedication and a clear decision to always go one step further, and such an attitude towards learning earned him an average of 10 and the University of Montenegro award for his success in 2025/2026.
The award was presented to him by the Rector of the University of Montenegro, Vladimir Božović, at a ceremony at the Rectorate of the University of Montenegro.
Pavle was born in Podgorica, where he graduated from the "Radojica Perović" Elementary School and the "Slobodan Škerović" High School, majoring in mathematics. He is currently a third-year student at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
"I chose mechanical engineering because it seemed the most attractive to me, as I have always been fascinated by the principles of how mechanisms, machines and technical systems function," said Bojović.
As the most significant event during his studies, he singled out the ceremonial awarding of awards to the most successful students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the faculty's existence.
He considers the moment when, in his second year of studies, he had to decide whether to retake two exams on which he had a grade of 9 to be particularly challenging: "That was a turning point – the moment when I decided to continue on the path of an average of 10".
Among all his successes, Pavle emphasizes that the award for the best students of the University of Montenegro in 2025/2026 represents a special honor and confirmation of his dedicated work.
His college colleagues describe him as a person of great talent and potential, a reliable colleague and loyal friend, but above all – a good man, with a bright future ahead of him.
For anyone considering enrolling in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Pavle has a clear message: "You won't regret it. Mechanical engineering offers a wide range of professions, and the job of a mechanical engineer is highly sought after and valued today."
