The Municipality of Bijelo Polje and the Municipal Red Cross Organization of Bijelo Polje, through the Pavino Polje local community, helped the three-member Žižić family to accelerate the construction of their home and enable them to move in as soon as possible.
The Žižić family faces extremely difficult living conditions and exists without any income, which is why any support provided has special value.
As announced by the Red Cross, the donated construction materials represent an important step towards completing the facility and creating a warm, dignified and safe living space for this family.
This action goes beyond simple material assistance, it is a message of solidarity, care and togetherness of the entire community.
"The Municipality of Bijelo Polje and the Red Cross will remain in regular communication with the President of the Pavino Polje Local Community, Slobodan Leković, in order to continue monitoring the situation on the ground and respond to all the needs of the family in a timely manner. Through partnership work, the Red Cross, in cooperation with the local government, will also provide other forms of support to this family, in accordance with its capabilities and assistance programs. This joint action shows how important it is that institutions, organizations and the local community act in harmony, so that every citizen in need feels that they are not alone and that support can come when it is most needed," the Red Cross said in a statement.
