DNP leader Milan Knežević said that the people of Botunja are "true heroes of a historic victory."
He emphasized that a clear message was sent "that the entire Zeta breathed for Botun and the entire Botun breathed for Zeta."
"And that no one can divide us. You have been here since November 14th defending the institutions of Montenegro," he said.

"You are the face of Montenegro today," Knežević told the people of Botunja.
He said that all settlements in Zeta showed that they were breathing for Botun.
"Not a step back," concluded Knežević.
Botuna resident Duško Stijepović said that this is a lesson in democracy.
He said that it is necessary for everyone to fight for "a healthy environment and our children."
The leader of the Democratic People's Party (DNP), Milan Knežević, also arrived for the celebration in Botun.
Ivan Kopitović, advisor to the president of the Municipality of Zeta, said that in the referendum, 7.739 citizens voted against the construction of the plant in Botun, and that 131 citizens voted in favor.
He presented this information while appearing on the show "Sunday in the Rearview Mirror" on Television Vijesti.

The mayor of Zeta, Mihailo Asanović, said that the referendum vote showed that 7.834 citizens of Zeta were against the construction of the plant, or 98 percent.
He pointed out that less than two percent were in favor of building a collector, and that only two citizens of Botun voted in favor of building a collector.
He said that the people of Zeća said "no" to the collector.
"This referendum cost less than 50.000, and by not building the collector, we will save lives."
He pointed out that there are no major steps, and that he believes that the Government will not go against its citizens.

The referendum was a complete success, said the President of the Municipality of Zeta, Mihailo Asanović.
"63,5 percent of people turned out, over 8.00 citizens exercised their right to vote," he said.

A referendum was held in Zeta today, in which citizens voted on the question of whether they were for or against the construction of a wastewater treatment plant in the Botun settlement.
The Ministry of the Interior previously informed "Vijesti" that around 12.800 citizens had the right to vote, and in addition to 26 polling stations in Zeta, three were also open at the Administration for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions (UIKS).
