Actor Mladen Nelević and the NGO Association of Parents of Children with Developmental Disabilities are the winners of the "December 19th" Award.
As announced by the Capital City, Nelević received the award for his lifetime achievement, and the NGO Association of Parents of Children with Developmental Disabilities received the award for its activities and achieved results in improving the overall position of children and youth with developmental disabilities.
For this year's "December 19th" Award, 15 proposals were submitted for 14 candidates, of which 14 met the formal, legal requirements, and the jury made the decision to award the award by secret ballot.
The jury for the “December 19th” Award consisted of Sonja Tomović Šundić, president, Vladan Radulović, Radoje Vujadinović, Marina Rakočević, Boban Melović, Boris Vukićević, Nevena Mijajlović, Milena Đukanović, Bojan Baća, Vuksan Simonović, Miodrag Živković and Ivona Čović.
The "December 19th" award is awarded every year on the occasion of the Liberation Day of Podgorica, for the highest merits and achieved results in theoretical and practical work and activity in all areas of human creativity.
The awards will be presented on December 19th at the ceremonial session of the Capital City Assembly.
