The Environmental Protection Agency improved the air quality monitoring system in Pljevlja by installing a mobile measuring station in the city center, enabling parallel measurement of pollution at two locations in the urban zone.
The Agency announced that after servicing and checking its technical integrity, the PM particle analyzer was installed and put into operation at the Gagovića estate measuring point.
In this way, the continuous monitoring system, which is of particular importance during periods of increased air pollution, has been further strengthened.
Air quality in Pljevlja is currently monitored through three measuring stations, two in the city's urban zone and one in the Kruševo settlement.
The Environmental Protection Agency announced that it will continue to regularly monitor the situation and provide timely information to the public, in accordance with its responsibilities. Citizens are advised to adhere to the guidelines and recommendations of the Institute of Public Health, especially on days when increased levels of air pollution have been recorded.
