Minister of Education, Science and Innovation Anđela Jakšić Stojanović and Director of the Austrian Agency for Education and Internationalisation (OeAD) Jakob Karlič signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the ministry and the aforementioned agency today in Vienna.
The agreement relates to improving cooperation in the implementation of the project "Get Ready 4 VET Through Career Guidance", which is being implemented with the support of the OeAD and represents "a significant step forward in the process of reforming the system of career counseling and guidance in education", the Ministry said.
The delegation from the Ministry of Education also includes State Secretaries Tatjana Ćalasan and Dragan Marković, who, together with the Minister, participated in the meeting with the Agency's management.
They discussed the results of the project so far, the effects of its implementation, as well as the possibilities of intensifying cooperation in the fields of education, vocational training, and science and innovation.
"The signing of the Memorandum confirms the joint commitment to improving the quality of educational policies and practices, and strengthening institutional capacities through the exchange of knowledge, experiences and good practices," the statement reads.
