Another creative gathering of the users of the Club for the Elderly was held yesterday at the premises of the Municipal Red Cross Organization in Bijelo Polje, during which the participants worked hard on making knitted handicrafts. The workshop took place in a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere, filled with conversation, laughter and carefully knitted details that, as the users say, were created "from the heart".
This time, knitting was also an introduction to the festive mood, because, along with wool and needles, small decorations were slowly created that herald the New Year's days.
For users, these meetings represent an opportunity to express their creativity, but also to feel a sense of belonging and the warmth of community.
"I always look forward to coming here. It's nice when we get together, do something together and know that someone is waiting for us. These workshops mean more to me than I can describe in words," said Blažo Bojić, one of the Club's users.
Knitting workshops will continue after the New Year holidays, while the period until then will be marked by festive activities, socializing and small New Year's magic that bring joy and cheerfulness to the everyday lives of the users. In this way, the Club for the Elderly remains a place where warmth, togetherness and a sense of belonging are nurtured even in winter days.
