The Ministry of Public Works announced that, with the prior consent of the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Northern Development, they have announced a tender for the procurement and installation of new equipment as part of the reconstruction of wastewater treatment plants for the municipalities of Kotor and Tivat.
They said that this procedure creates conditions for technical and technological improvement of the existing system, in accordance with applicable national and European standards.
The implementation of the project, they point out, will ensure that all relevant environmental parameters in the field of wastewater treatment are met.
They said that the new equipment will contribute to a more efficient and reliable operation of the plant, as well as improving the quality of environmental protection, and that the project aims to preserve the natural resources of the Bay of Kotor and improve the municipal infrastructure for the needs of the citizens of Kotor and Tivat.
