A creative workshop for members of the Senior Citizens Club was held at the premises of the Municipal Red Cross Organization Bijelo Polje, dedicated to making New Year's greeting cards and decorations.
In a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, through socializing and creative work, participants had the opportunity to feel the spirit of the holiday and the joy of togetherness.
"Conversation, smiles and the exchange of memories marked this workshop, during which greeting cards and decorations filled with personal messages and warmth were created. Every detail carried a special value, because it was created from a sincere desire to create something beautiful and share it with others.
At the end of the gathering, all participants were presented with appropriate New Year's gifts, as a sign of attention and gratitude," the Red Cross announced.
"One of the club members said that what means the most to her is socializing and being able to share the day with someone. We always feel accepted and at peace here, and these socializing sessions mean a lot to me," she said.
Through such meetings, the Red Cross Bijelo Polje continues to create a space in which humanity, closeness, and dignity are nurtured, because holidays only have true meaning when they are shared.
"Moments like these remind us that age does not diminish the need for attention, warm words, and the feeling that we are important to someone. This is precisely the value that the Red Cross Bijelo Polje continues to cherish," the organization states.
