The municipality of Kolašin has asphalted about a kilometer of road, which is used by the residents of the settlements of Osreci and Ljute, which, they explain, is very significant in these villages, considering that it is a section that was in very poor condition.
As the local said Vlado Jovanovic, a nine-kilometer-long road was built 26 years ago. The work was mostly financed by locals, with the help of donors. After that, for a long time, neither the local nor the state authorities heard appeals from two villages in Kolašin, which were asked to invest in the road.
"For years, the two villages have been contacting various addresses, from the municipality to numerous ministries, asking for help with filling and asphalting the road, but in vain, the authorities have never responded to a single request. The exception was the former mayor of the municipality. Darko Brajuskovic, who during his mandate paved 250 meters of asphalt in critical places on two occasions. In addition, the road route has not received the necessary attention for years. He reminds that the road connects these two villages with the main road,” says Jovanović.
According to him, after a request from residents of two villages, with one hundred and fifty signatures, the Municipality asphalted "one very bad section of the road on this route, one kilometer long."
"We remain hopeful that the Municipality, within its capabilities, will continue with the works next year, because there are indeed a large number of locals, which they confirmed with their signatures, seeking improved conditions so that they can cultivate their properties, suitable for all types of agricultural production," explains Jovanović.
He says that a total of one hundred and fifty families live in Osreci and Ljuta, and that they have been contacting the Ministry of Agriculture and the Minister for two years. Vladimir Joković, all in the hope that investment in the road would begin from that address as well. However, as Jovanović claims, neither a positive nor a negative response was ever received from that department.
