Bijelo Polje was again without power for several hours.

The town was without electricity for more than three hours, after the power went out around 12:30 p.m. Bijelo Polje was also without power for more than two hours last night - from around 10 p.m. to 12:25 a.m.

The Montenegrin Electricity Transmission System (CGES) told "Vijesti" today that the facilities of the Ribarevine substation were in a de-energized state.

"Due to problems in the 35kV network that led to a power outage, T1 and T2 were disconnected from the 110kV side at 13.07 and 13.08, respectively, for testing by the team on the ground," a source at CGES previously told "Vijesti".

Last night, the power outage was caused by a fault in the Ribarevina power line.

For additional information about the problem with the electricity supply from the Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System (CEDIS), they were referred to CGES.

A large number of citizens contacted the editorial office of "Vijesti" because they were unable to find out about the outage, because calls to the phone number from the CEDIS website 050/486-380 were constantly busy.

"Vijesti" was unofficially told that it was not a so-called "off-hook", as many "Vijesti" readers claimed, but that "for some reason, when there is a complete power outage in the municipality, the phones turn off and do not work."
