The Director of the General Hospital in Pljevlja, Saša Grbović, said in a post on the social network Facebook that those who used to buy ID cards, alluding to the former DPS government, are convincing his fellow citizens that the air in the city is more polluted today than it was then. Grbović said that they are lying and added that Pljevlja requires cleaning, but "first let's clean ourselves of them."
After the reaction of the Pljevlja DPS, which assessed that Grbović was calling for the lynching of dissenters, the director of the General Hospital explained that his announcement was a criticism of the "quasi-protector of the citizens of Pljevlja".
"There is absolutely no call to lynch anyone, and everyone who knows me knows that. That is not my style and I have never called for violence or any violent behavior. My message was solely directed at the quasi-protectors of the citizens of Pljevlja to disappear from the public space," he told "Vijesti".
"You were in mouse holes, waiting for your boss to approve you to say something. Without personality and without soul! You bought ID cards in someone's garage. Some for 30e, some for 50e. That's how much your soul cost. Voice! The guy who bought your voice is now a kappa. Like in the camps. Back then, he convinced you to be silent. Because it's normal to suffocate. Now the same guy is convincing you that you suffocated a little less in those years because you had 50e to put in front of your nose instead of a mask," Grbović said in a post titled "I defended this city from you who were silent for thirty years."
"Well, friends, you are still suffocating now and then. Same. Check it out. But now you have people who are doing something about it. And what are these people doing now? Now that the ecological reconstruction is at an end, the district heating is about to be completed, the people who bought your souls, not only your souls but also your lungs, claim that you are suffocating more. They falsify data, invent, lie, from the comfortable positions of those who have been half-heartedly silent all these years, swallowing SO2 for the sake of some banks, and they don't even know what SO2 is or what it reacts with, they don't even know two chemical formulas, they claim that it is worse now. They lie! They lie!!! Pljevlja demands cleansing. But first let's cleanse ourselves of them! They won't cleanse us. We won't even go to church with them! Back then you were buying souls, now you are buying the consciences of those whose souls you bought! Of course, it's all for nothing. We will save Pljevlja and the country from half-wit and thieves who have been making money and are making money on the suffering of citizens. You don't ask anything anymore. And never "You won't even ask. Thank God it's like that!", added Grbović.
The Pljevlja DPS municipal board strongly condemned the announcement by the director of the Pljevlja General Hospital, calling on Minister Vojislav Šimun to dismiss him.
"The Facebook post by the director of the General Hospital in Pljevlja, Saša Grbović, in which he calls for lynching and the cleansing of Pljevlja is scandalous, shameful and unacceptable. In the days when Pljevlja is facing an ecological disaster and when the health of citizens in this city is seriously endangered, the head of the Pljevlja hospital shamelessly labels and targets tens of thousands of citizens and openly threatens them. This post is an alarm for the entire society, and especially for the prosecutor's office, which, if it is not too busy reading SMS messages and dealing with the media and political dissenters of the current government, should deal with the brutal hate speech authored by doctor Saša Grbović. Finally, regarding Grbović's outburst of hatred, which is, among other things, a reflection of inhumanity that should not be inherent in a health worker - an urgent reaction by the Minister of Health, Vojislav Šimun, is necessary and the director of the General Hospital in Pljevlja is dismissed due to the post that has rightly upset "the Pljevlja public," the statement from the Municipal Board of DPS Pljevlja states.
