The boiler house on Skerlićeva Street will continue to operate, after it was determined that the Municipality of Pljevlja, the president of that local government, and the competent municipal services failed to fulfill their legal obligations, which led to a temporary blockade of its functioning.
This was stated in a statement by Nikola Rovčanin, a member of the Democratic Party and president of the party's Municipal Committee in Pljevlja.
"I just met with Minister Ćulafić. Based on all the facts, it is clear that the Municipality of Pljevlja, the Mayor and the competent services have not fulfilled their obligations, even after 15 months, which led to a complete blockade of the boiler room in Skerlićeva. Considering the fact that 500 apartments were left without heating due to irresponsible behavior, the Minister assured me that the Ministry will act in the best interest of citizens and users," said Rovčanin.
According to unofficial information from "Vijesti", the Minister of Ecology Damjan Ćulafić will accept the appeal of the "Grijanje" company and allow the boiler room to continue operating until the end of the heating season.
According to this information, the decision will be made today or tomorrow.
Citizens today again did not allow the inspector to seal the boiler room on Skerlićeva Street.
