The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MESI) has filed 12 new criminal charges with the Basic State Prosecutor in Podgorica due to reasonable suspicion that false and untrue foreign educational documents were submitted, which were determined to be unreliable during the recognition process.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications announced that these individuals are suspected of committing the criminal offense of forging a document under the Criminal Code.
"We expect the competent authorities to act in accordance with their jurisdiction and powers, in order to resolve this significant institutional problem," the statement added.
