UP: Snow, fog, we draw the attention of drivers that the situation may lead to difficult traffic flow

Considering the adverse weather conditions, as well as snow cover and fog on certain sections of roads in Montenegro, we draw the attention of drivers to the fact that the current situation may lead to difficult traffic flow, reduced visibility, but also to traffic jams, landslides and extraordinary disruptions in traffic, as well as an increased number of traffic accidents, the Police Directorate (PD) announced today.

"We also remind drivers of the mandatory use of winter tires on vehicles participating in traffic on roads with snow, ice or slush, as well as on roads covered by the Order, the implementation of which began on November 15," the statement said.

The UP added that they appeal to all road users to adjust their driving to the weather conditions and road conditions, and to prepare their vehicles for driving in winter conditions and thus contribute to their own safety, as well as the safety of their fellow passengers and other road users, while consistently respecting traffic regulations and traffic signs.
