Boil water from Mareza before use or use safe alternatives

The Podgorica-based company "Vodovod i kanalizacija" announced that due to heavy rainfall, the water at the Mareza water source has become slightly cloudy, so it is recommended that the population, especially children, pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems, boil water before use or use safe alternatives, i.e. water from controlled water supply sources.

Consumers will be notified of any changes in a timely manner, the statement added.

The settlements supplied from the Mareza pumping station are: Mareza, Tološi, Block V and VI, part of the city across the Morača, the city center, part below Gorica, Malo brdo, Stara varos, Zabjelo, Pobrežje, Zelenika, Dahna, Dajbabe, City kvart, part of Zeta, Gornja and Donja Gorica, Donji Kokoti, Grbavci, Lekići, the Farmaci settlement, Beri, the Waterworks Authority said.
