The President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Andrija Mandić, laid a wreath at the monument to the heroes of the Battle of Mojkovac in Mojkovac.

Wreaths were laid by delegations of the Army of Montenegro, as well as numerous delegations of the Municipality of Kolašin.
The Kolašin delegation included the President of the Municipal Assembly Vasilije Bulatović, the President and Vice-Presidents of the Municipality Petko Bakić, Vasilije Ivanović and Miodrag Bulatović with their associates.
As they stated, in this way they paid tribute to their ancestors and the fighters of the Kolašin Brigade, whose heroism marked the Battle of Mojkovac.
The program marking the 110th anniversary of the Battle of Mojkovac, organized by the Municipality of Mojkovac, began a few weeks ago, and a ceremonial academy will be held today.
Given that the Municipality of Mojkovac also celebrates January 7th as the Day of the Municipality, a ceremonial session of the Municipal Assembly was held today.

The People's Trust Movement announced that their representatives, on the occasion of marking the 110th anniversary of the Battle of Mojkovac and the Day of the Mojkovac Municipality, laid a wreath at the monument to the "heroes of this glorious battle."
"The wreath was laid by members of the presidency: Darko Smolović, Ivan Bulatović and the councilor of the Trust in the Mojkovac Municipal Assembly Vesko Vuković, who in this way, on behalf of the People's Trust Movement, paid deep respect to the heroism, sacrifice and freedom-loving spirit of the Mojkovac fighters," the statement reads.
They said that the wreath-laying preserved the memory of "a historic feat that represents one of the brightest moments in our history and an enduring symbol of honor, courage, and freedom."
"In glory and honor to the heroes of the Battle of Mojkovac, and on the occasion of the Day of the Mojkovac Municipality, the People's Trust Movement emphasizes the importance of preserving historical memory, national dignity and the values on which the freedom-loving tradition of this region rests," the party said.
