Water from the Vučji Studenac spring, which supplies Komani and Bandići, is safe to drink, announced the Podgorica city company "Vodovod i kanalizacija".
"The results of today's physical and chemical analyses of water from the distribution network for consumers supplied by the Vučiji studenac water treatment plant show that turbidity values have decreased and are below the prescribed limit values. All other parameters are within the legally permitted limits, so the water from the water supply network is safe for drinking," the statement reads.
They said that there is a trend of gradual decrease in turbidity values at the Mareza water source.
"In accordance with the recommendations of the Institute of Public Health, as a precautionary measure, it is recommended to boil drinking water before use, especially for children, pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems," the statement reads.
They announced that they would continue to regularly monitor water quality and provide timely information to citizens.
