Heavy rainfall that caused the water level of Lake Skadar to rise has endangered households along the coast, with residents of Vranjina and Žabljak Crnojevića being particularly affected.
The Skadar Lake NP Protection Service is on the ground day and night, and in addition to carrying out controls to protect nature, the rangers also visit areas that are potentially at risk of flooding, the National Parks of Montenegro announced.
Head of the Skadar Lake Park Protection Service Vuk Saičić He said that supervisors on the ground will provide assistance and support to the local population.
"We urge residents to contact us for assistance and help at 067000825 if they are at risk and notice that their household is threatened by flooding and that they need evacuation. I would like to point out that the Protection Service is on the ground 24 hours a day," said Saičić.
