The Ministry of Diaspora has begun implementing an online course in Montenegrin, Bosnian, Serbian and Croatian.
The project is being implemented with the technical support of the Institute for Education. The course is intended for members of the diaspora residing in the United States, Canada and European countries, who are over the age of seven.
Classes have recently started and will last three months.
"The interest among young people in this program is great. Over 170 participants have applied. Most applications were from the USA. Classes are taught by certified CSBH language teachers," the statement reads.
Minister of Diaspora Mirsad Azemović emphasized that the online language course is a priority activity of that department and stressed "the importance of preserving the language and cultural identity of our people, especially children, in the diaspora."
He wished the participants much success in their future work and announced the continuation of the project.
