The Savin Kuk ski resort is open today, the ski lift is operational.
According to unofficial information from "Vijesti", the eventual reopening of the rest of the ski infrastructure depends on an assessment of whether it is safe for use.
A daily ski pass costs 16 euros, assuming the entire ski infrastructure is in operation. A half-day ski pass is 10 euros.
The ski resort is open from 10 am to 16 pm.
On December 20th of last year, a German citizen died in a tragedy on Savin Kuk and his wife was seriously injured.
Three foreign nationals were rescued then.
They were trapped after cable car 2 was shut down following a breakdown and tragedy.
An investigation was conducted at the scene of the tragedy, and then the decision was made to restart the cable car.
A serious accident on the cable car occurred on December 20th after 13 pm when, most likely due to a malfunction, a tourist fell off.
Everything happened on an extremely steep section of the dangerous trail below the very peak of Savin Kuk.
