The construction site for the construction of a wastewater treatment plant in the Zeta village of Botun was quiet this morning, reports the MediaBiro agency.
The location is being secured by the police, and the Media Bureau team noted that an excavator is currently carrying out work at the construction site.
Cameras were previously installed on the construction site, as well as financial and construction signs.
According to the construction site board, the deadline by which the facility must be built is May 31, 2028.
It was indicated that the investors of the construction were the Capital City and Vodovod, that the technical documentation was prepared by the company "Nik kom", and that the audit was carried out by a commission for auditing project documentation, with Goran Sekulić as the lead auditor.
The sign indicates that the contractor is Kuzu - Alkatraš from Turkey, and that the German company Fichtner GmbH & Co KG will provide expert supervision.
MediaBiro states that construction of the wastewater treatment plant officially began on December 30th of last year, despite opposition from the residents of Botun.
Yesterday, residents of Botun blocked roundabouts in the Podgorica settlements of Zabjelo and Donja Gorica, dissatisfied with the construction of a wastewater treatment plant in Botun.
They announced that they would gather every day.
