The "Be Human" Foundation announced today that it has allocated an additional 2.500 euros for the treatment of a boy named Pavle Šestović, who is suffering from acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
"Pavle Šestović is an eleven-year-old boy from Podgorica who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in July last year. From that moment on, his courageous journey of struggle began, which took him far from home - to Turkey, where he is currently undergoing treatment at the Acibadem clinic, accompanied by his mother," the foundation said in a statement.
They added that they stand by Pavle and his family, and that they had previously sent aid in the amount of 7.500 euros to support his treatment.
"As Pavle is still in Turkey waiting for a stem cell transplant, the Foundation, in order to provide him with additional support and facilitate the continuation of treatment, has sent additional assistance in the amount of 2.500 euros. Pavle is a boy with a bright spirit and great courage, who radiates strength even in the most difficult moments," it states.
"Budi Humane" emphasized that they sincerely wish Pavle a successful continuation of his treatment, with the belief that he will soon have days filled with play and a carefree childhood that every child in this world deserves.
