On the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, the perpetrators, who are still unknown, placed a large banner with a message aimed at inciting national intolerance in this multinational environment on the overpass on the Adriatic Highway at the entrance to the center of Tivat, near the old Municipality building.
The banner, which reads "If you don't know what happened - let Boka tell you, it's the apple of Serbs' eye!" was, according to unofficial information, placed on Tuesday evening before midnight.
This was done on the day when some of the citizens of Tivat celebrated the so-called "Serbian New Year", or the New Year according to the Julian calendar, and another part of the citizens celebrated January 13th as the official Day of the Croatian People in Montenegro.
The banner was removed in a very short time by the Municipal Police of the Municipality of Tivat, and an on-site investigation was also conducted by members of the Tivat Security Department.
