The Volunteers of Montenegro Foundation announced today that it is warning citizens of Montenegro about a scam - a false collection of funds for the boy Feđa Alković.
"The Volunteers of Montenegro Foundation categorically denies any connection with a person who is falsely posing as our volunteer and is illegally collecting money for Fedja Alković. This fraud seriously undermines the trust of donors and requires urgent prosecution of the perpetrators to prevent similar abuses in the future," the statement said.

"Our volunteers do not collect cash in front of houses or through private channels - each action is announced in advance on Facebook, Instagram and the website. We help hundreds of families annually, with complete transparency in the use of funds, which is confirmed by our ten-year reputation. A police report has been filed against this person for fraud and misuse of our name. Prosecuting this person is crucial for the protection of donors and preserving the integrity of humanitarian actions in Montenegro - we ask the public to report similar cases," they said.
The Volunteers of Montenegro Foundation has asked donors to follow only their official channels.
