Traffic in Montenegro this morning is mostly on dry roads, the Automobile and Motorcycle Association (AMSCG) said, stating that there is ice in higher mountain areas.
The AMSCG said that smaller landslides have become more frequent.
As they stated, it is necessary to adjust driving and vehicle speed to road conditions.
The AMSCG reminded that, from November 15 to April 1, the use of winter tires is mandatory for all vehicles on roads where this is indicated by signage, regardless of whether winter conditions exist.
When winter conditions (snow, ice or slush) exist on other parts and sections of the road not covered by the Order, the vehicle must be equipped with winter tires on all wheels. The minimum tread depth on the tire tread is four millimeters.
On the regional road R-10 Đurđevića Tara – Mojkovac, in the village of Sokolovina, traffic has been suspended due to a landslide.
Traffic on the regional road R-30, section Petnjica - Bioča, section Bioča-Lješnica, was suspended from 8 am to 12 pm and from 1 pm to 4:30 pm.
Due to the reconstruction of the regional road R-29 Bar - Kamenički most - Krute, traffic will be suspended from 8 am to 11 am and from 1 pm to 4 pm.
Traffic on the regional road R-17, on the Čevo - Riđani section, is suspended from 8 am to 2 pm due to renovations.
Traffic on the Petnjica-Bioča road has been changed from two-way to alternating due to reconstruction, and total closures of no longer than 60 minutes are occasionally possible.
On the M-3 Plužine - Jasenovo Polje main road, on the Zaborje - Jasenovo Polje section, traffic is carried out in one lane alternately at work sites, and traffic is regulated by traffic lights.
The AMSCG said that traffic will be changed from two-way to alternating due to the reconstruction of the access roads to the Đurđevića Tara bridge.
The traffic regime on the M-6 road, on the Žabljak-Pljevlja section, has been changed from two-way to alternating due to the reconstruction of the Đurđevića Tara bridge.
Due to regular maintenance on the Princess Ksenija highway, one lane in the Veruša - Mateševo direction is closed in some places.
Traffic on Vojisavljevića Street in Podgorica has been suspended due to the construction of a boulevard and vehicles will be diverted to alternative routes.
