After some residents of Zeta blocked traffic on the Podgorica - Bar road for 12 hours, the Police Directorate announced that they are providing alternative routes leading from Podgorica to Podgorica Airport, as well as towards coastal municipalities in the direction of Bar, and are redirecting traffic and drivers to alternative routes.
The police said that these were unregistered gatherings in the territory of the Zeta municipality.
Residents of Zeta protesting against the construction of a wastewater treatment plant blocked traffic at the roundabout leading to Podgorica Airport, and the police previously announced that traffic at that location would be suspended until 16 p.m.

The Police Directorate emphasized that citizens can obtain information about alternative routes and request police assistance by calling the Duty Service at 122, via the Operational Communications Center at 112, as well as by direct contact with police patrols in the field.
"In order to ensure smooth and safe traffic flow and stable public order, the presence of numerous police officers has been increased in the territory of the Capital City, as well as special vehicles of the Capital City's municipal inspection, intended for the removal of illegally parked vehicles from public areas," the statement concludes.
