The Embassy of Ukraine in Montenegro, together with the Ukrainian association "Dobro djelo", has launched a humanitarian campaign of solidarity with the Ukrainian people, who, as they point out, are facing one of the most difficult winters since the beginning of the all-out war.
"Due to the Russian Federation's continued attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, hundreds of thousands of people are left without a stable supply of electricity and heating, in conditions of extremely adverse weather conditions. In such circumstances, every unit of energy equipment has a direct and measurable importance — it enables heating in homes, the smooth operation of hospitals, schools and kindergartens, and contributes to the safety of the civilian population, especially the most vulnerable," the statement reads.
They called on all institutions, companies and "citizens of good will" in Montenegro to get involved and support the humanitarian initiative by raising funds for the purchase of energy equipment for Ukraine.
"Your support at this time represents a powerful act of solidarity and is of crucial importance to thousands of families in Ukraine. Together we can bring warmth where it is needed most. Thank you in advance for your support and understanding," the statement reads.
