Dražen Cerović was unanimously elected president of the Council for Civilian Control of Police Work at yesterday's constituent session of that body in the new mandate, for the period 2025-2030.

As Cerović announced, the members of the Council were introduced to the normative framework and methodology of the work of that body, the results achieved so far by the citizen oversight of the work of the police in Montenegro since its establishment in 2005, and the publications issued by the Council in the past period were also presented.

During the session, there were discussions about the cases that are in the process of processing before the Council, examples of practice were presented, as well as the program activities of that body.
