Space protection inspectors demolished yesterday the columns and the structure for the slab at the Sret Pekić building on Pristan, in Ulcinj.
Pekić started the work earlier, and the inspection went to the field shortly after the neighbors allegedly reported that a new floor was going to be built on one of the oldest buildings in Pristan.
"I was reported by a neighbor who usurped part of the property behind my house. Apparently, she wouldn't be able to see the mosque if I built a floor. It's a clear message to me that I'm redundant here. All I have to do is sell the house and leave the city," Pekić said.
He claims that buildings of four or more stories are being built on the Pier and that he would like to see if they have a building permit.
"They don't block anyone's view. Only Sreto bothers. Well, let them demolish it then," Pekić said.
