The hurricane-force south wind and the tidal wave that led to the rise in sea levels have caused water to penetrate the Old Town of Budva, and the waterfront along the marina is underwater.
This is shown by the recordings sent to the "Vijesti" editorial office by residents of the Old Town.
Part of the old town streets is underwater, and it is practically impossible to walk along the promenade because the waves are hitting the parapet next to the town square.
