Zeta represents a bridge between rich historical eras and the contemporary moment, announced today the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Milojko Spajić.
The Government announced that Spajić congratulated the leadership and citizens of Zeta on February 8th - Municipality Day.
"Both in spatial and temporal terms, Zeta represents a bridge between rich historical eras and the contemporary moment, but also between the sensibilities, traditions and economic potential of the coastal and northern regions. All this, along with exceptional natural resources and development potential, makes Zeta one of the most promising municipalities in Montenegro," said Spajić.
The Prime Minister pointed out that over a long period of time, the material assets and human capital of this region have been treated with insufficient attention and responsibility, but expressed his determination that, together with the local self-government, the Government will continue to improve the living conditions of citizens.
"Gathered around the principles of the rule of law, economic prosperity of all citizens and European integration, despite growing challenges, we are confident that we will continue successful cooperation in the areas of agricultural production, tourism, energy, development of the infrastructure network and environmental protection, with a special focus on the reconstruction of red mud basins and the rehabilitation of solid waste landfills, as well as the preservation of river flows," Spajić said in his congratulatory message.
He also stated that he is certain that by the end of the demanding year of 2026, a certain and tangible European reality will fully open up before the citizens of Zeta and all of Montenegro.
