The President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, announced today that he expects the Government of Montenegro to return to dialogue with the municipal leadership of Zeta, in order to find sustainable solutions in the interest of all citizens, in all areas of economic and social development.
The Public Relations Office of the President of Montenegro announced that on the occasion of the Zeta Municipality Day, Milatović sent his congratulations to the municipal leadership, councilors, as well as to all citizens of Zeta.
In his congratulatory message, he emphasized that Zeta, with its rich history, strong identity and valuable natural resources, has the potential to be a strong driver of Montenegro's progress.
"The goal of the development of Zeta, but also of Montenegro as a whole, must be an economy that brings stability to families and realistically increases the quality of everyday life of citizens. Therefore, it is particularly important for Zeta that the Government significantly increases subsidies for agricultural producers and invests funds in capital infrastructure," Milatović emphasized.
He added that "on Montenegro's path towards full membership in the European Union, local communities play a key role, because it is at that level that the rule of law, efficient administration, environmental protection and trust in institutions are built."
"For this reason, I expect the Government of Montenegro to return to dialogue with the municipal leadership in order to find sustainable solutions in the interest of all citizens, in all areas of economic and social development. I am convinced that Zeta, with the active participation of its citizens, will continue to develop as a modern and responsible municipality, making a strong contribution to the overall development of Montenegro," said Milatović.
In that spirit, Milatović once again sent his congratulations to all the men and women of Zeta on the occasion of the Municipality Day, with the message: "Let Zeta be an example of how a stable, prosperous and European future can be built through joint efforts."
