The non-governmental organization "Euromost" announced that, with the support of citizens, they filmed how the Municipal Company "Lim" from Bijelo Polje, as the NGO claims, unloads municipal waste on the banks of the Lim River and into the river itself, below the company.
According to information they obtained from citizens, the company has been doing this for days, digging a hole on the banks of the Lim River and then allegedly filling it with municipal waste, some of which is allegedly going into the Lim River.
The company, on the other hand, says that it is only a matter of reloading waste that is immediately transported to the landfill in Dobrakovo.

The NGO "Euromost" today informed all competent inspections, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Northern Development, the Ministry of European Affairs, as well as the Delegation of the European Union, asking them whether this is how Montenegro should close negotiation chapter 27, which relates to the environment and climate change.
They also asked Minister Maida Gorčević and her commission, which, as they say, "supposedly controls" the spending of EU funds, whether these are the funds that were approved for this company for a chainsaw and a vehicle to collect floating waste on the Lim River, and then return it to the Lim River.
The NGO "Euromost", as stated in the statement, will continue to protect the Lim River, which is most endangered in the area of the Bijelo Polje municipality, as can be seen after the recent floods and high water levels, when the river receded, leaving behind a large amount of waste that has littered the banks.
Grbović: There is no waste under the company, it is currently being reloaded due to the volume of work
The director of the municipal company "Lim", Muradif Grbović, said that this is not about any waste disposal under the company and in the river, but rather about the reloading of waste that is immediately taken to the landfill in Dobrakovo, and that such videos and statements are the result of the desire of people who are bothered by the good financial results of that company.
"As you can see in the video, these are trucks from the 'Roads' work unit, not from our 'Cleanliness' unit, which we often include due to the volume of work, in order to manage to remove municipal waste according to plan and program. These trucks, as you can see in the video, bring municipal waste to the company's premises, where it is reloaded. And as soon as it is delivered there, a municipal truck with a loader immediately arrives, loads it and deposits it at the landfill in Dobrakovo," Grbović explained.
