Sexual and reproductive health are an inseparable part of the general health of every individual and concern for them must not be accompanied by shame, the Tivat Health Center announced.
In a statement issued by the institution on the occasion of World Sexual and Reproductive Awareness Day, it recalls the importance of preserving the right to health, but also the historical path that led to these rights.
It is added that sexual and reproductive health are an inseparable part of the overall health of every individual and that every patient deserves care based on expertise, respect, and humanity.
It is emphasized that this is precisely why the Tivat Health Center continuously invests in the education of medical staff and the modernization of equipment, with the aim of, along with constant work on prevention, providing conditions for early diagnosis, which is one of the key factors for successful treatment and preserving the quality of life.
"It is important to remember that behind the rights we have today are decades of struggle, solidarity and courageous decisions by women of the time," the statement said.
They are said to have fought for autonomy and the right for women to make independent decisions about their bodies and lives.
"It is our obligation to defend this heritage today with knowledge, prevention and quality healthcare," said the Tivat Health Center.
The health institution said that its doors are open to anyone who needs advice, support, and healthcare in a safe and confidential environment.
"Concern about sexual and reproductive health must not be accompanied by shame, but by trust and a sense of security. That is why we remain committed to providing healthcare in accordance with the most modern medical standards, with the aim of providing every citizen with the support, understanding and care they deserve," the statement concludes.
