The construction ban in the municipality of Herzegnov, according to the decision adopted by the Council of Ministers, will last, for the first zone, from June 15 to September 15. The ban does not apply to Azmont Investments, which is building the Portonovi tourist complex in Kumbor, and the request to approve their construction during the summer was also submitted to Imperio Holding LTD, which is the investor of the Lazaret tourist complex in Meljini.
We remind you that the President of the Municipality, at the request of the investor, can approve the execution of construction works during the period of the ban for projects of interest to the Municipality and the state, but also when it is necessary to urgently repair communal infrastructure facilities or rehabilitate facilities that pose a danger to people's life and health due to damage.
The ban on construction in the second zone will last from July 1 to September 1.
The municipal police began to tour the field, in order to determine the exact number of active construction sites and inform investors about the cessation of work.
In the municipality of Herzegnov, the arrival of the first tourists coincides with increased construction activity every year. The coastal road on the Herzegovina Riviera was ruined after works on the collectors, and the start of its rehabilitation has not yet been determined.
Paving of part of the promenade has not been completed or announced. A large number of catering establishments along the promenade are undergoing reconstruction and "makeover" before the season. During that time, piles of construction material and waste have been standing along and on the promenade for days.
Our coast has a mild climate, so construction is possible throughout the year, says one tourist worker, and that is why, in his opinion, it is unacceptable to carry out construction works in the most attractive locations during the pre-tourist season, which often interfere with normal communication.
