Although she has been working quietly and dedicatedly for three decades, the chemistry professor's exceptional results Radmile Radovic They spoke very loudly - it brought Bijelo Polje education 36 awards from municipal, state competitions and knowledge olympiads.

An educational worker with the title of teacher-mentor, with her professional engagement, dedication and exceptional results, has left a deep mark that has long since transcended the borders of the city and state, which is why she received the highest municipal recognition this year - the January 3rd Award.

Based on the places she won, the Ministry of Education and Science awarded her three times as one of the most successful professors - mentors.

Her work, as one of her former students described in one of her many messages, has deeply marked generations of young people.

"This recognition is much more than a reward for the profession, it is a confirmation of dedication, patience and true faith in the potential of children. For years, you have led students to competitions, not only as a mentor, but as a support, motivator and role model... The results that your students have achieved testify to the knowledge, but even more to the pedagogical breadth, discipline and love for science that you have passed on to them," writes, among other things, one of the former students.

She realized very early on, first from her father, that chemistry is not just dry formulas and the periodic table, as she told "Vijesti". Svetislava who was a technologist.

"I have always been attracted to working in the laboratory, which I discovered with my father and later in chemistry classes at the 'Pavle Žižić' Elementary School in Njegnjevo. Chemistry is everywhere, everything around us is made up of invisible particles. And yet, the largest things we are surrounded by in nature are made up of these invisible particles. For me, that is the charm of chemistry, which when you love it so much, it is not difficult to convey to your students," said the professor.

She explained that chemistry is an extremely difficult and demanding field of study.

"But when you love something, you boldly step forward, regardless of any obstacles. After graduating, I wanted to be a chemical engineer, or to work in a school. When I first stepped into a classroom among the students, I realized what my future calling was," she emphasized.

EVERYTHING IS OWE TO PARENTS

Everything she has achieved, she explained, she owes to her parents, Svetislav and It's standing.

"They very early on instilled in me the qualities of modesty, love of work, discipline, and perseverance, to which a love of science was later spontaneously grafted. Without the support of my parents, who unfortunately have long since passed away, I would not have succeeded."

She enrolled in the Faculty of Science in Skopje, and graduated in Pristina in 1995, from the Department of Chemistry.

Her first work experience began at the Mixed High School in Bijelo Polje, then she worked for a year at the ''Braća Selić'' Gymnasium in Kolašin. Since 1998, she has been working at the ''Dušan Korać'' Elementary School, and she also fulfilled part of her quota at the ''Nedakusi'' Elementary School. And wherever she worked, she was successful.

The fact that many have knowledge but not everyone knows how to pass it on is confirmed by the saying "Knowledge is not knowing knowledge, but knowledge is giving knowledge", which was quoted by, among other things, a colleague who proposed the award, and this is also confirmed by her students.

“I am overjoyed because the children in my classes understand me perfectly. They learn to repeat the lessons I teach them during class, which is very important for learning this seemingly dry subject.”

With my wife By Miloš, who is an economist, has two children. Although they did not follow in their parents' footsteps, they are very successful in their careers.

Shipping Costs Milorad, although he is a former champion of the Chemistry Olympiad, today he is a software engineer - programmer, and his daughter Anja PhD student in solo singing in Novi Sad.

It is difficult to imagine how many hours and days Radović spent with her students, holding additional classes and sections, as well as preparing for various competitions, where she often prepared five students at a time and they all won some of the prizes.

"Over three decades of work, Professor Radović has built a reputation as one of the most prominent and dedicated chemistry teachers, known for her high level of expertise, systematicity, constant improvement and exceptional ability to convey knowledge in a clear, understandable and inspiring manner. As a teacher-mentor, in addition to regular classes, additional classes and sections, she dedicatedly provides support not only to students but also to colleagues, introduces them to teaching practice, shares experiences and contributes to raising the quality of the teaching process throughout the institution," stated her colleagues - the award nominees.

A rare continuity of success

One of the most important segments of her professional work is working with talented students.

"Radović has won 14 awards (first three places) at the State Chemistry Competition, of which I would like to point out that there have been cases in one year that out of two or three of her students who participated in the competition, both won first place or first, second and third, and a total of 11 first places in the state."

Her students are achieving similar success in municipal competitions.

“Seven awards won (first three places) at the Knowledge Olympiad (state competition organized by the Faculty of Fine Arts, Podgorica), of which 4 first places, 15 awards won (first three places) at the Municipal Competition.”
