While Herceg Novi continues to grapple with communal chaos, traffic jams, lack of parking, devastation of space, slow infrastructure projects, as well as open issues of Mandrać, the cable car and the protection of cultural heritage, the energy of the local government is being spent on identity performances, said Tanja Vujičić, a councilor for the European Union in the Herceg Novi Municipal Assembly.
"Everything is, apparently, 'solved', so the current government, led by the Democrats, is now busy highlighting the tricolor and deepening divisions among citizens," she added in a post on Iks.
Vujičić said that instead of solving real problems, we are witnessing yet another attempt to divert attention from the mismanagement and malfeasance that accompany the mandate of this government in Herecg Novi.
"Enjoy, dear citizens, the 'wonderful view' and another sale of fog, because it is obviously easier to hang flags than to solve the city's problems," concluded the European Union councilor.
