Religious holidays remind us of enduring values that are equally important in modern society – peace, stability and mutual respect, said the President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Andrija Mandić.
As announced by the Parliament of Montenegro, Mandić sent a congratulatory message to the Head of the Islamic Community in Montenegro, Rifat ef. Fejzić, on the occasion of the onset of the month of Ramadan:
"On behalf of the Parliament of Montenegro and on my own behalf, I extend my warmest congratulations to you and all believers of the Islamic faith on the occasion of the beginning of the month of Ramadan and the Ramadan fast. Religious holidays remind us of enduring values that are equally important in modern society - peace, stability and mutual respect," Mandić said in his congratulatory message.
He added that by preserving culture and tradition, we are simultaneously laying the foundations for a safer and more successful future.
"Harmony, security and mutual respect are the basis of Montenegro's progress. Through mutual understanding and respect, we build a prosperous society and create better living conditions for all our citizens. May your Ramadan days be filled with peace, good health and joy," concluded Mandić.
