The Director of the Emergency Medical Assistance Institute of Montenegro (ZHMP), Vuk Niković, met with the Coordinator of the Turkish Agency for International Cooperation and Coordination - TIKA for Montenegro, Nihal Ersoj, with the aim of continuing and improving the successful cooperation so far.
The ZHMP announced that TIKA has so far donated valuable medical equipment to emergency medical units in Gusinje and Zeta, thereby significantly contributing to strengthening the capacities of the emergency medical care system.
"As a result of the partnership between the Institute and TIKE, two training courses in the field of advanced life support for trauma patients were implemented, which represents an important step forward in the professional development of medical staff. During the meeting, Niković and Ersoj expressed satisfaction with the continuity of cooperation, emphasizing mutual commitment to further developing the partnership between the Institute for Emergency Medical Assistance of Montenegro and the Turkish Agency for International Cooperation and Coordination," it was announced.
Niković thanked Erso for her support so far, emphasizing that its importance is reflected in improving the quality of emergency medical care, both through the provision of modern medical equipment and through the education of healthcare workers.
