Lučice beach cleaning campaign

Today, Komunalno Budva, in cooperation with NGO Green, successfully implemented a coastal cleaning campaign on Lučice beach in Petrovac.

As stated in Komunalno, students from the Petrovac "Mirko Srzentić" Elementary School also participated in the action, and with their engagement they demonstrated a high level of awareness of the importance of environmental preservation.

"During the activity, a large amount of mixed and biodegradable waste was collected, which made a concrete contribution to the development and protection of this valuable natural space. The initiative for the implementation of the action came from the NGO Green Net, while our colleagues from the Cleaning Service provided full support in organization, logistics, hiring of machinery and removal of the collected waste," said the Budva Municipal Corporation.

They add that such actions have multiple significance.

"They contribute to the preservation of natural resources, raise the level of environmental awareness among the youngest and send a strong message about the importance of joint action in environmental protection. It is especially important that the children were active participants, because it is through personal example and participation that a responsible attitude towards the space in which we live is built. A clean coast is not just a matter of aesthetics, but also of community health and the preservation of biodiversity. We thank the NGO Green Net for the invitation to participate and we continue to support initiatives aimed at preserving our coast and the environment, because only together can we make a lasting and visible change," they point out from the Budva Municipal Corporation.
