They warn that irresponsible movement near the construction site in Botun can endanger lives

The construction supervision, in connection with the announced gatherings and tomorrow's protests on a local road in the immediate vicinity of the wastewater treatment system in Botun, has called on citizens, organizers, competent services and authorities to "prioritize people's safety."

They remind that this is an active construction site where, in accordance with the Law on Occupational Safety and Health and accompanying regulations, only authorized persons are allowed to be present.

They note that the construction site is not a public space, nor a zone intended for free movement.

"It is important that citizens respect the law, safety procedures and instructions from the competent authorities, and that they do not approach the construction site without the necessary authorization. Intensive earthworks are currently underway on the site, including excavations five meters deep and more, as well as the work of heavy construction machinery," warned the Fichtner company, which is carrying out expert supervision on the project, as announced by the Otpadne vode Podgorica company.

They emphasize that all work on the construction site is carried out in accordance with applicable regulations and under full occupational health and safety measures, with strictly controlled access only to authorized persons.

"Irresponsible and uncontrolled movement near a construction site can lead to serious injuries, endangering the lives of those present, as well as those employed at the construction site," the statement reads.
