Hotel "Agape" owned by the company "Baskethand" Djordje Pavićević illegally placed objects in the municipal parking lot, blocking several parking spaces, confirmed the competent secretariat of the Municipality of Bar.
This follows from the answer to the councilor's question. Milan Nešković (Democrats) who in November last year asked the local administration whether the facilities that were installed and built on plot 5714 KO Novi Bar, in the parking lot behind the Radio Bar building, were in accordance with the Program of Temporary Facilities for the Municipality of Bar for the period 2023-2028, and whether they were in accordance with the Regulation on detailed conditions for the installation, or construction of temporary facilities, devices and equipment.
From the Secretariat for Urbanism and Spatial Planning, headed by Ognjen Leković, he received a response, as he told "Vijesti", that the placement or construction of temporary structures is not planned on that plot.
"In the parking lot of that location, there are flower pots, generators, plants have been planted, and a facility has been built that functions as a hotel (elevator) located in the Radio Bar building, while the Study of General and Special Parking Lots in the Municipality of Bar has marked that location as a parking lot," said the Democrat councilor.
Due to the response he received, he asked the authorities a supplementary question - how to proceed in situations where someone places and builds structures on a public area, and the placement or construction of temporary structures is not foreseen in the documents regulating this issue, who is responsible for their removal, and whether the local administration will take action in this case. As he said, he has not yet received an answer.
At the Bar Municipal Assembly session on January 27, Nešković informed the executive director of "Parking Servis Bar" about the response he received. Nikica Purlija, and asked whether the company, which now manages the parking lot and is soon to charge for it, would start some activities to free up those parking spaces.
She replied that they could only manage the areas allocated to them in the Study, so Nešković explained that the plot was part of that document, after which she said that she would "of course do something" and that it was clear that the plot was intended for municipal parking if it was included in the Study prepared by the Secretariat for Communal Affairs and Traffic.
"Vijesti" from the Municipality of Bar expects answers about their actions in this case and how, among other things, they will ensure the "liberation" of this space and whether this legal entity will have the opportunity to pay an annual rent for the parking spaces where these facilities are located, when parking fees in Bar finally start to be charged.
The company "Baskethand" did not respond to questions sent to them by email last week - whether they requested another consent from local authorities for the installation of objects on that plot (planters, plants, elevators...), whether any of the competent authorities and services contacted them, and whether measures were ordered to remove these objects.
Pavićević's company has remained silent about whether and when they will remove these facilities, since they are located on a plot of land that is not designated for this purpose and are not part of the Temporary Facilities Program until 2028.
