The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of Montenegro announced today that temporary protection for persons from Ukraine is being extended until March 4, 2027.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs adds that persons from Ukraine who submit a request for temporary protection in Montenegro for the first time will also be granted temporary protection until March 4, 2027, in accordance with the aforementioned Decision.

"By achieving the status of a foreigner under temporary protection, this category of foreigners, in addition to the right to residence, will have unhindered access to all rights in the field of temporary protection, in accordance with applicable legal provisions," it concludes.
