Regarding the article "Who hindered the work in Zagorič?", which was published on March 31 on the Vijesti portal, the Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System (CEDIS) reacted to what they claim are incorrect statements by Gradnja promet doo
In their response, they point out that CEDIS fulfilled its obligations in the connection process of the construction site connection in question on time, which is why the allegations that we caused a delay in the execution of works on the facility are not valid.
We transmit the reaction in its entirety:
"Regarding the allegations by "Gradnja-promet doo" that they submitted the request for construction site connection in January 2024 and that they waited eight months for CEDIS to implement the request, we inform you of the following:
The first request for the installation of a construction site connection was submitted by "Gradnja-promet doo" on 23.01.2024, but without the necessary documentation. Given that the conditions, method and procedure for connecting users to the distribution system are defined by the Procedure for Connecting Users, which specifies the documentation necessary for the implementation of such a request, on 30.01.2024, in response to the request of "Gradnja-promet", CEDIS detailed the documentation that they are required to attach to the request, including the Contract on the Construction of Infrastructure for Connection and Connection, or the consent for the connection of the facility for the construction of which a construction site connection is requested. The Agency for Construction and Development of Podgorica concluded the Contract on the Construction of Infrastructure for Connection and Connection with CEDIS only on 13.06.2024, while the fee under that contract was paid on 25.07.2024. After that, "Gradnja-promet" submitted a new request for the installation of a construction site connection on 12.08.2024. in which they state: "Given that the conditions have been met, after the signing of the contract between the Podgorica Development Agency and CEDIS and the payment of the fee, we hereby renew the request for the installation of a construction site connection for electrical installations at the construction site in Zagorič and attach the necessary documentation."
On August 21, 2024, CEDIS concluded a Contract with "Gradnja-promet" on the construction of infrastructure for connection and connection, in accordance with the Procedure - the applicant decided to build the infrastructure.
After the completion of the construction of the connection infrastructure, "Gradnja-promet" doo submitted to CEDIS a notification on the fulfillment of contractual obligations number 30-20-02-8671 on 29.08.2024. Upon receipt of the notification, CEDIS installed the metering device (meter) on 10.09.2024. and submitted to the applicant a Notification on the fulfillment of contractual obligations for the purpose of concluding the Supply Contract, number 30-20-02-9060 dated 12.09.2024.
We reiterate that CEDIS fulfilled its obligations in the connection process of the construction site connection in question in a timely manner, which is why the allegations that we caused a delay in the execution of works on the facility are not valid.
"We hereby consider the controversy in question concluded and appeal to all future users to respect the regulations and procedures that regulate the process of connecting to the electricity network," the response states.
