The training ship of the Navy of the Army of Montenegro, the sailing ship "Jadran", yesterday and today conducted voyages in the waters of Montenegro with students of the Secondary Maritime School from Bar, nautical and marine engineering department, on board.
Sailing on the "Adriatic" along the Montenegrin coast from Bar to Boka Bay and back was an opportunity for students from Bar to become familiar with ship routines and to test in practice their acquired theoretical knowledge in navigation, marine engineering, ship science and seafaring skills.
In addition to their professors, the crew of the training ship "Jadran" led by the commander, Lieutenant Commander Ivan Laković, also worked with the students.
As we unofficially learned, "Jadran" will conduct similar voyages on April 23, 24 and 25 with students from all majors of the Faculty of Maritime Studies in Kotor and their professors.
The sailing ship will then sail to its permanent berth on the city waterfront Pine in Tivat on April 25th, where "Jadran" will be based during the upcoming summer months.
