An investment of around 2,38 million euros is planned for the road infrastructure of Kolašin this year. The largest part of the funds, amounting to 900.000 euros, will be directed towards asphalting city, categorized and uncategorized roads.
A separate project concerns the reconstruction of the Mrtvo Duboko - Pjenavac bridge route, for which 200.000 euros have been planned. The same amount will be invested in the Mioska - Dragovića Polje road route, which includes the localities of Njegalice and Topli Potok, with a length of 1,8 kilometers.
In addition, investments are planned in several local areas. 187.000 euros have been allocated for works in Šljivovica, while a project worth 70.000 euros will be implemented in Raičevine. The same amount is planned for roads in the area of the Manastir Morača Local Community (MZ).
Works will also be carried out in Ljuta, for which 78.000 euros have been allocated, as well as in Trebaljevo, where 77.000 euros have been planned. 81.000 euros will be invested in Zavraca, while 82.000 euros have been planned for road infrastructure in Bare Kraljske.
Among the larger projects are the asphalting of the one-kilometer section of Kajtina Kosa, for which 70.000 euros have been allocated, as well as the two-kilometer section of Raičevina - Donja Morača, worth 160.000 euros. The plan also includes the one-kilometer road of Oćiba - Poljane, with an estimated value of 80.000 euros, while 130.000 euros have been allocated for the asphalting of two-kilometer roads in the Local Community of Svrke and Trnovica Gornja.
Vice President of the Municipality Vasilije Ivanovic, when asked by "Vijesti" how priority road routes for rehabilitation were determined, he said that "the locations are clearly defined and relate to amendments to the state budget for 2026, where proposals were submitted in accordance with the expressed requirements."
He explains that 900.000 euros, also earmarked by the amendment, will be allocated for city categorized and uncategorized roads.
"These funds will be allocated according to established priorities and requirements. They will include road routes that need rehabilitation both in the city and in the settlements of Drpe, Drijenak, Blatina, Lipovo, Babljak, as well as in all other places where there is a need for rehabilitation of road infrastructure," promises Ivanovic.
According to him, the amounts provided for Kolašin roads this year are "record funds allocated by the Government to the Municipality of Kolašin when it comes to maintaining local infrastructure."
